Clean and paint the front door to attract the buyers from first look. Pot or plant colourful annuals and perennials to draw interest from the street. Replace your doormat and put some welcoming wall hangings to make beautiful first impression. Fix any defected doorbell, shingles as exterior defects can make a poor first impression on buyers.

Clean:
Clean your home to make your house look more attractive. Vacuum and shampoo the carpet to remove any stain and odour. Repaint the walls if needed to give fresh and new look to rooms. Clean each room, washroom, and garage before starting the showings. And specially, take care of kitchens and washroom while cleaning as buyers will judge the cleanliness from it.

Declutter the things:
Start packing the less used things in your home. Keep less furniture and things in your home while showing as it will give impression for larger space which attracts the buyer. Remove the things that make your rooms overcrowded and seems to be unused the whole time. Keep minimal decoration while showings and pack the less used things and this will help in moving as well.

Fresh Paint:
Put the fresh paint on walls to cover worn out areas. Use white, beige, or taupe color that will make the room look cleaner and bigger. It will enhance the brightness in the room and elevate the larger space in your rooms.

Replace or Fix the Old Hardware:
You can replace or repair new door handles, faucets, towel bars and curtain rods - fixtures that are readily visible to homebuyers - rather inexpensively. New hardware in the bathroom, kitchen and on windows and doors also improves the functionality and safety of these components.

Don’t Forget your Backyard:
Plan and plant some new flowers and green plants. Keep the backyard clean and functional so that buyer could feel comfortable and soothing to see your backyard area.
